The API reference (documented under @igpapi/android)

The platform-agnostic part of igpapi, the Instagram private API Simulator for Node.js: the endpoints, flows and facades that the platform packages share, without a concrete phone or transport.

It is installed with the platform package, and you import everything from @igpapi/android (or @igpapi/ios), which re-export it. This page is for the rare case of a custom platform or transport layer. If you only want to use the Simulator, go to Your first program.

What is inside

• Login: Login (the Bloks login the platforms run), the two-factor effects (Two-factor without the screens) and totpCodeOf (The authenticator code).
• Account and settings: the account, the security and the privacy effects (Turn on the authenticator app, Message controls).
• Lists: the feeds such as followersFeed (Lists).
• Media and Direct: the media effects such as MediaAddMentionedUser (Mention users in a story) and the Direct broadcast (The Direct broadcast).
• Telemetry: FlushTelemetry sends the pending telemetry now (Telemetry).
• Errors: the typed errors of the shared flows (Errors).

The posting of photos, Reels and stories is walked through the Android screens (Publishing); this package holds the requests behind them.
