The API reference of @igpapi/pigeon-nest
The telemetry of igpapi, the Instagram private API Simulator for Node.js: the events the Instagram apps report to Instagram (profile visits, video and Reel view counts, session events and more). The Simulator logs and sends them for you.
You do not use this package directly unless you run the app layer without a launch. The actions that instrument a sequence log their own events, and the close of every process delivers what is pending (Telemetry).
pigeonSendInfraBatches: starts the telemetry delivery session. A program that composes the app layer itself runs it first, inside the program the platform's layer is provided to:Effect.provide(pigeonSendInfraBatches, AndroidApp(…)).FlushTelemetry(from@igpapi/android) sends everything accumulated, and fails withTelemetryDeliveryErrororTelemetryDeliverySessionError(Errors).
Install
It is installed with the platform package (Get access and install).
The upload is the Android app's, byte for byte: its envelope (flags, the identity request, the family id, the checksum entries, the tokens of the identity) is built from the device, the session and the process, and the host's answer is read — the sampling and config checksums and the hmac_ttl token it carries are kept on the device (MobileDeviceState.pigeonIdentities, in the snapshot) and sent back with the next upload, as the app does. The rules are in spec/.
