Whether an app process begins with the session it starts from: the
derivation a launch uses for the stored state it starts from, shared by the
runtime and the conformance tooling. Continuing a checkpoint does not call it —
that process carries the start fact it stored (ProcessStart), because a
checkpoint of a process that signed in inside itself holds an authorization
while that process began without a session.
A lifecycle derivation, not a value a caller sets: the conformance
tooling shares it; the public surface does not need it.
