The plain API's status rule, one reader for both paths: an answer whose body
is not an object naming status: 'ok' is a RequestError carrying the
status, the body and the headers. PlainJsonApiHttp applies it to every
answer; a caller that reads the stream itself (JsonResponseHttp, the
timeline feed's chunks, #960) applies this same rule, so no second copy of it
exists.
