    Function navigationStepsOf

    • The navigation steps the app logs for one committed change of the screen in front, inside a session's chain:

      • every chain entry the change pushed — an ordinal above the highest the session had handed out before it — is one step, with the chain as it stood after that entry and the entry's own source (the own profile's root and its child tab are two); a kept tab's chain brought back holds no such entry;
      • a change that pushed none but changed the screen in front is one step: a return to an entry already in the chain is back, and a tab brought back carries the source the switch wrote into the surface trail (main_home, main_profile);
      • a change outside a chain, or one that left the screen in front where it was, logs nothing.

      The own profile visited twice from the feed is five events: the tab's root and its child tab, the two returns to the feed and the second visit (the facts are in “The device telemetry queue: …”).

      Parameters

      • before: MobileNavigationState
      • after: MobileNavigationState
      • commitMs: number
      • takenBack: readonly MobileNavigationChain[] = []

        The session chains as they stood before an entry was taken back inside the same change (a restart emptied it, a pop shortened it): the entries they held above the ordinal handed out before the change and no longer in the chain that remains were pushed — and logged by the app — before they went, each one a step of its own, ahead of the steps of the chain that remains.

      • relogs: NavigationRelogs = ...

        The extra moves the change declared for the entries it pushed (its journal, never the state).

      Returns readonly NavigationLoggedStep[]
