    Interface TimelineSessionSignalsInput

    Everything the session_level_signals blob needs: the request clock and the app/session navigation state.

    interface TimelineSessionSignalsInput {
        appStartTimeMs: number;
        extendedSessionSignals?: boolean;
        foregroundSessionStartMs: number;
        ownSurfaceAtMs?: number;
        requestTimeMs: number;
        sessionSurfaces?: readonly NavigationWireSurface[];
        surfaceModule?: string;
    }
    Index

    Properties

    appStartTimeMs: number

    App process start (epoch ms).

    extendedSessionSignals?: boolean

    The app build's key set: the 451 build adds the app-session and container-module block (the profile's MobileApplication.launchWire). Absent leaves the 448 key set.

    foregroundSessionStartMs: number

    Current foreground-session start (epoch ms); the first request after it reports the elapsed time.

    ownSurfaceAtMs?: number

    When the request's own surface came to front, when the navigation state knows it (the screen in front is that surface); the request clock when it does not. Never the screen in front's resume time for another surface.

    requestTimeMs: number

    client_recorded_request_time_ms as a number.

    sessionSurfaces?: readonly NavigationWireSurface[]

    The session's foreground surface trail before this request (NavigationWire.surfaces). The request's own surface is appended with ownSurfaceAtMs (else the request clock): the app records the surface it is loading before the client endpoint flips.

    surfaceModule?: string

    Analytics module of the surface this request belongs to: the surface module of the screen in front when that screen is a timeline feed (the main feed, or the Following filter pushed over it — feed_timeline_following), else the feed the request loads (FEED_SURFACE_MODULE, which is also what the Following filter's opening reports: it goes out before its screen lands). The app records it in its session navigation trail before the client-endpoint screen flips.
