Showing them sends nothing. openNicknameEditor opens the nickname editor for the participant the handle shows; the thread id is the thread screen's state, read as the item's host's, so the edge has no argument of its own. The app reaches the editor through the thread details, the shared media and the nicknames list; the Simulator opens it from the thread directly.
