Whether this process already showed the Direct inbox. The app keeps the list it showed in memory for its process's lifetime, so a tab opened after that re-reads nothing: the tap sends its list-independent queries (the privacy settings, Spotify's link, the empty state, the persona, the stories, the search warm start) and no inbox fetch, no message-requests badge query and no saved replies. A first, cold start of the tab fetches the filtered first page from the same stored head. Process state, like the warm start: a restarted app shows the inbox for the first time.
ReadonlysharedThe conversations whose shared media this process loaded, by long thread id: the app keeps the pages it fetched, so a second visit in the same process sends the shared links and the collections again and no media page. A process fact, not the session's: a restarted app loads the pages again.
Whether this process's Direct search warm start went out.
The Direct surface's per-process warm-up: whether this process already started the Direct search backend and asked its suggestion list.
The app warms it once per process, when the Direct surface first shows. A picker that puts the surface in front warms it at its own enter; a tab warms it about a second after its own inbox snapshot, and the suggestion list follows the process presence timer's (~200 s after the launch,
android.process-timers.ts); a picker opened over an inbox that already warmed the process sends neither.Process state, one per runtime layer, never in the session snapshot: a single inbox answer never stands for a process's warm-up, and a restarted app warms its own backend again.
